ABOUT THE CREATOR
I am mom to my son Marshall and wife to my husband John. My son is the inspiration behind Marshall’s Pantry. When I first became a new mom, I was overwhelmed by the wealth of information on child nutrition and simultaneously terrified at all the warnings against processed foods. My little boy was fast approaching the toddler era and I needed to figure out the best course for his health. I took a deep breath and decided to research for myself and experiment in the kitchen. I started creating recipes for my little one using organic, fresh whole foods. My son was happy and healthy but I was neglecting myself in the process. I realized I needed to eat what my son was eating so we could be healthy together – so I could keep up with this tiny tornado full of energy! Once I began to treat myself with the same care and consideration I gave my child, I began to feel better very quickly. I slept better at night, I had more energy throughout the day and my old cravings for unhealthy salts and sweets diminished. I wanted to help other parents do the same. Thus, the birth of Marshall’s Pantry!
I am currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics & Nutrition. I always apply my education to my descriptions and recipes, however I am not yet licensed.
